About the
the robinson-broadhurst foundation performing arts amphitheater

A gift to the Community
The Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation Performing Arts Amphitheater was made possible by a generous $3 million gift from the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation. Built in Winchendon Community Park, the amphitheater was envisioned as a space where residents could gather, connect, and celebrate the arts.
Built with purpose
Designed to blend into the natural landscape overlooking Whitney Pond, the amphitheater features terraced hillside seating and a modern stage pavilion. It was created to foster community spirit, support local talent, and offer free or low-cost performances for all ages.

A project years in the making
Planning began around 2020, with construction starting in 2022. The grand opening was held on June 10, 2023, marked by performances, food, and fireworks. The project was a collaborative effort between the Foundation, the Town of Winchendon, and community leaders.

A Cultural destination
Since opening, the amphitheater has become a hub for live music, movie nights, and festivals. Events like Winchenstock and the Sunset Socials have brought thousands of people together, turning the space into a cherished local landmark.
